Overview
VidHub utilizes The Movie Database (TMDB) to fetch information about movies, TV shows, animations, concerts, short films, and movie series.
To ensure the best results when matching your videos with TMDB titles, we recommend following the naming conventions outlined here.
Missing or Incorrect Metadata and Posters: What to Do?
TMDB is a community-driven database that contains metadata and poster images in multiple languages. If you come across an item that is missing or displaying incorrect titles, details, or images, you can easily add or modify the relevant information by creating a free TMDB account. For any queries, please refer to the Data Editing Reference Guide.
By contributing images and metadata to TMDB, you help in collectively building community resources, as VidHub and other applications can also make use of this data.
Please note that it may take about 1 day for the content you add or modify on TMDB to show up on VidHub.
Does VidHub Support Scraping Adult Content?
Due to the guidelines in the App Store Review Guidelines, VidHub currently does not download metadata or artwork marked as adult/explicit on TMDB.
