Why should I allow access to Screen Recording when starting the mirror to TV?
If you try to mirror to TV for the first time, the system will ask you to allow to record the computer's screen. That's because the app will record your screen and then push the stream to your TV device for mirroring. It doesn’t record your screen into files and doesn’t send any content to a server. It only temporarily stores data in your device's memory before it is streamed to TV. Upon streaming, the content is removed from memory.
If you choose "Deny" the first time, to make the mirror work, you should allow screen recording manually:
1. Please open "System Preferences" and go to "Security & Privacy"
2. Select the "Privacy" Tab, then choose "Screen Recording" on the left side.
3. Check the Oka Mirror app on the right table list.
4. Restart the app.
